Walailak University has developed a time attendance system. Through a smartphone with an application called “THASALA”, there was a Kick off of the system on January 11, 2023, with Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University presided over the ceremony.
The Center for Digital Technology in collaboration with Human Resources and Organization Division Walailak University has developed a human resource management system (WU-HRMS) with a subsystem (Module) for time attendance – out of work. Through a smartphone with an Application Line called “THASALA” to facilitate employees to register their working hours at various office buildings within Walailak University. The area on the map is marked with a blue circle covering each building can display the scope of service points in the area when working and the system is also designed to support operations outside the area, such as other districts / provinces can enter and leave work time by specifying the reason, such as going to an exhibition to buy equipment, etc., to support the approval of the head of the agency as well In the past, the system has been tested with 2 pilot agencies, namely The Center for Digital Technology and The Center for the Promotion of Culture and Sports From November 1 – December 31, 2022, the results show that it can be used effectively. Facilities and users it meets the policy of the Smart University (Smart University) in terms of Smart Organization very well.
