Digital Technology Center staff join the event on the occasion of Walailak University’s 33rd



At the main auditorium, Thai Buri Building, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President, gave a welcome speech and summarized the university’s performance over the past year, emphasizing the determination to make Walailak University a university with a continuously improving world ranking, along with developing the university both physically and academically with outstanding quality, prioritizing the development of teaching quality, and the intention to make Walailak University the university with the most beautiful campus in Thailand.
Then, Mr. Thirachai Chemnasirin, President of the University Council, gave a congratulatory speech on the occasion of Walailak University’s 33rd anniversary, saying that Walailak University places great importance on multiculturalism, as can be seen from the merit-making ceremony of 3 religions in the morning. He also gave advice on how to be a rapidly growing organization that must not be obsessed with success (Complacency) and avoid stubbornness and not listen to anyone (Arrogance). He also expressed his confidence in his work as an executive with “morality, honesty and compassion”, hoping that Walailak University personnel will be happy and enjoy their work. He hopes that Walailak University will soon become a leading university ranked in the Top 5 of Thailand.


Followed by the ceremony to receive royal decorations in front of the portrait of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun in the year 2024, including the ceremony to receive royal decorations of the sash class for 2 persons, the ceremony to receive royal decorations of the lower class than the sash for 54 persons, the ceremony to receive the Direkgunabhorn class in front of the portrait for 18 persons, the ceremony to present gold rings to honor personnel who have worked continuously for 25 years for 31 persons, the ceremony to present souvenirs for those who have worked for 30 years or more for 4 persons, and the ceremony to present plaques to outstanding alumni for 4 persons.
