Walailak University Invites Student Representatives to Shape Digital Strategy
On Friday, July 12, 2023, Walailak University’s Center for Digital Technology held a stakeholder meeting to gather input from student representatives, including members of the student government, club presidents, and student council. The meeting aimed to shape the university’s digital strategy for the years 2025-2028.
Assistant Professor Dr. Atit Boonrodchu, Assistant Vice President, presided over the meeting, which took place in the Hua Tapan Meeting Room of the University Medical Center Building. Assistant Professor Dr. Thimaporn Phetkaew, Acting Director of the Center for Digital Technology, welcomed the attendees, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nichanan Kittipattanabawon provided a brief overview.
Building on previous discussions with other stakeholder groups, the university emphasized the importance of a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the institution’s goal of becoming a digitally-driven institution. The strategy aims to enhance infrastructure, integrate technology into all aspects of university life, foster innovation, and promote data-driven decision-making.
