On 27-28 May 2021 The Center for Digital Technology,Walailak University improved wireless network at academic building 9 to become a wireless access point according to standard WiFi 5 covering 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz,including support for SSID WU WiFi, WU WiFi (802.1x ), eduroam and Guest WU.The original system used within Academic Building 9 is a wireless broadcasting device according to WiFi 4 standard, only supports 2.4 GHz and supports only SSID WU WiFi and Guest WU.This new update will increase the speed of wireless networking. and covers more applications than before.
